What does the "switch" button do in battle?
I was fiddling around with the steam controller layout and saw the switch function being bound to L2.
However, holding that button seems to do nothing for me, is it suppose to do anything?
We can already switch characters via "Target" already, so this got me really confused. Any ideas?

When you have more than 4 characters, holding the switch button lets you use boost strikes from people outside of combat. Also, later on you get a second page of artes which you use by holding the switch button when pressing the arte button.

hmm, the only thing mentioned in the combat guide portion of the game is the switching of ammo for shionne for the grenade skill. It could be that we are too early in the game for this function to be of use
