Using Artifact or other extra content ?

So I bought the Ultimate edition and I am not sure if I should use all the Artifacts or the strong sword at my first playthrough.

I kind of feel like I am cheating and it also says that it’s optimal to use artifacts on other playthroughs.

But I am not sure if I will want to replay the game.

What are your thoughts on this because I really don’t know. Should I use all my extra content ?

Honestly, I'd like to know the same. I ended up purchasing some of the packs in case they've gimped the xp curve or something to make it fairly mandatory.

That sword is really just op for the first few hours, after that you find better gear in the game.
The stuff from the DLC is really more about making the first few hours easier.
So use it if you want or dont , it really does not make much of a difference in the end.
