Pay to Win?

So I see the devs implemented pay to win mtx on this game. What is your opinion on the matter?

pay to win over who exactly? i can just about find a free trainer that offer the same benefits, but i will play normally on first playthrough on moderate and enjoy it for what it is,

It's a single player game. You can choose what you want to use. Better yet, if you want to be overpowered, just use CE and get everything for free too. If you want to play with challenge, you can go out of your way to do that.

Can't believe people are complaining about optional DLC boosts in a single player game, and those that they don't need to buy to reach cap.

This isn't pay to win. While it does suck that this garbage is DLC you can easily beat the game without worrying about buying the DLC. In this case it's more pay for convenience because there is no clear advantage vs just playing the game normally.

Oh crap! you are right lmao! I just noticed Berseria has is too. I had never noticed before. Oh well, I guess its not as bad then since I haven't felt slow and tedious progress in Berseria without having bought the adventure pack.

For sure. It's just there for completionists that would rather throw $5 at it instead of grinding at endgame

You must be very stupid if you buy these boost items in a offline game when you can get these for free with a trainer... even if its a option Bandai added to it, getting those items would feel like cheating so I prefer to play the game like it is.

the only things i can see that is worth buying is the starter pack and the supporter/ growth packs for the extra benefits, but 2 to 4 dollar per pack/ dlc for 100k gold or 5+ / 10+ lvl is not that bad, in world of warcraft it cost 60 dollars for boost alone, but you get to the highest lvl then but i will not say that tales of series have pay 2 win, its just something extra if you want to pay for it.

Besides that the buying stuff was part of previous titles from them too, and honestly its not even that bad..at least they didnt drop loot-chances so people have to buy stuff like Ubisoft does or many other companys
