Thanks for the reply honestly you would be surprised what developers often include in games these days.
Stuff like Kerbal Space Program was literally datamining its end users with adware...it was a known thing but people looked the other way

Jokes aside, I'm just against anti-consumer practices.
As for red-shell, after the upcoming EOS crap which can be blocked through tampering with the host file, I've learnt that you can do the same with red-shell as well:
