On every preload i did, on release day it took 2-4 minutes to unpack and finish installation and i was good to go.
Most games I play now only take a few minutes to install since I have an M.2 SSD. It can take upwards of 40-60 minutes for my cousin to install the same games on his PC with a standard HDD in it.
but internet sucks
so pre-load will be great xD

~40GB download
Doesn't matter how awesome your PC is, the decryption will take longer then downloading a fresh copy.
On the other hand, if you have an unstable or slow (less than 200mbps) connection, preload is the way to go.
It is likely rare, but it was a real shame back when Nioh 2 released on PC without a pre-load option, but the Playstation version did have it.
