I mean what else are you saving them for?
I used Alphen with a Warrior Amulet
Law with Impact
Shionee with the CP reduction one
Rinwell with Mystic
All with different stats on, like resistance and pen. I don't see the point in stacking stuff like BG increase since it fills up plenty fast enough with just 1 8% increase.
Rinwells cast time is fast enough with 20% (maybe 25%) and prob gets better use out of some more elemental attack and some defence.
And yet I beat them. It is very clearly not the only way to beat the bosses.
Sure it might be an easier way to beat them but you can also just learn tells and what you can do, when you can dodge etc.
Much like the Ultimate Arena boss. Got the opening of what to do on Law down perfectly since he slashes right from the offset but it gives just enough time to pop Steel before a dodge > counter > combo right on this weakpoint.
Would like a animation cancel with a dodge tho, just think it would improve the fun factor lol.
1.
Alphen - Warrior(3x 60 attack / 15% max hp boost)
Shionne - Mystic (2x casting time -5% / 2x cp -10%)
Rinwell - Magic (3x element attack 60 / decrease aggro L)
Kisara - Protect (2x 400hp / Increase aggro L / Elemental def 60)
Its main squad, but on backup have this:
Law - Warrior (4x 15% max hp dmg) - with this Law doing always 60% bonus boost damage from backup
Dohalim - Magic (4x 15% max hp dmg) same as Law
2.
Optional as only for Alphen:
Magic (3x elemental attack / 120 penetration) - with this burst flaming edge have verry good boost - only using burst after reign of slash (highest burst in my opinion)
Swift (2x 400 hp / 2x attack 60) - more safety to dodging nukes from bosses.
U can try it :)
That can be true, is quite egregious on the smaller ones.
In future as last sub-quest, u will see truly armaggedon on screen :D depends where you now with activity after main story
The games is pretty linear if you skip a step you are going to have a bad time. First you must make sure you reach the the final BOSS in the main story, and defeat the enemies in the six portals before it. By doing this, you should have the second best weapons and armors in the game by this point and you should be around level 55 by my count. After this, start defeating the giant bosses for the ASTRAL FLOWERS and extra levels. I was able to defeat the 3 lights bosses by level 60 without a problem and the rest of the giant monsters in Dahna without a problem. After that, you are ready for the special areas in the game, the 6 keys quest, which literally will bring you to around lvl 80 or 90 by the end of it and have the best weapons and armor when you finish it.
When you finish this, you need to grind for lvl 100, because the ULTIMATE training challenge is a whooping lvl 99 fight and finally you can defeat the phantom bosses from the last sub quest.
Think I would've preferred that, I had to play chicken with Elzen lol.
Alphen was sudo tank with both aggro add-ons and who I controlled so I always had aggro away from Law (Who does ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NUTTY damage with you got aggro) and my casters,
Ran around until Alphen BG was up, boss did a dumb attack I could punish, or they did another move i could interrupt (like cast an arte) Worked really well for Eizen + Edna since they just focused me and Law kinda pummeled them in the back.
although grind isnt really the word i would use. the last boss in the key quest can be refought and he gives about 2-3 levels every time, so if you beat him around 5 times, you get from 90-100 pretty quickly. it really doesnt take long to beat him also, his hp pool is quite the joke if you spam mega sonic thrust and use your boost strikes on him downed.
Check your strategies too, healing priorities are very important.
Be sure to do quests in the "right order", if the ennemies levels is way higher than yours try a different quest.
