Active the "damage 1" artifact. You can setup all characters to manual (or make them dont move at all). Spam the arte over and over. Flee when done or bored.
she does use some artes on ym end, it's mostly the aerial ones tho..maybe try against one big chunky mob that does not move around a lot?
Edit: I thought you meant the actual shield lol. Yes I know, that would be the obvious solution, but then ALL she does is auto attack. Hopefully she'll proc an aerial attack (I'm hoping hurricane kick) since that seems to be something she will spam non-stop.
Alternatively, if you want to learn more artes on her in general disable the shield type that are slow or overly immobilize her activity and keep the faster ones on as well as power since proficiency of a specific arte is linked to improving that arte's performance but proficiency in an arte "type" is what allows them to learn new artes (aka shield and power are each arte "types").
Hopefully this helps.
Apparently she loves attacking charging enemies, in particular the level 20 Boars near your farm. Still doesn't want to meteor strike (cuz i really want to cap this lol), but it looks like she started running up to boars now. She does not display the same behavior with other charging enemies. Looks like boars are pretty simple for the AI to grasp, they don't dodge, they're not fast and don't stun lock you very much.
No problem. Makes sense that boars work well since fliers tend to get tossed away more easily and fast enemies are a struggle for the AI for this type of farm, while golems jump/charge and knock people around in a larger area than boars. Good choice it sounds like.
she seems to act dumb if she's targetting a monster that is already getting coboed, but she start to be really aggressive if you switch her to an other target so like,, if you are farming against lieke 3 wolves, just have her target one's that is not being attacked by alphen
