Not exactly true. The Training Grounds has two matches you can do once an hour, one for defensive sets of herbs, and one for offensive sets. So if you really wanna wait out the timers, you can indeed farm them.
by the way I never actually paid attention to it bt that's true,the arena does allow to farm them but only the small ones(level 50 tho)
Hm. After I finish the game once maybe I should use WeMod to power thru the game multiple times just to see what oodles of those would do to a chr. Haha....no, I probably won't really, because it would be tedious as heck even if cheating like mad. But I'm curious nonetheless.
999 ... that seems to be a common number for jrpg's. Not that I've played tons of jrpg's. :)
EDIT : I didn't used a single one because I kept them for endgame to see what character I would main,by the time I reached final boss,I saw I still had them and honestly XD, i don't needed them at all . it's just an extra bonus tho
