Early game question

I need to build 3 things I don't have the blueprints for. How do I get these blueprints? I've explored pretty far, like 6 islands far away and haven't found anything...

You have to level up your base to get those blueprints. The early game is pretty rough because I keep need to build the one use items...

'Finding new drakes will increase your camp level, they also give you some passive ability. Each drake provides different kinds of passive bonuses. And for each drake, you need to build a bed to sleep.'

I think feeding your drakes shards also increases your base level

Do the original beds you build destroy themselves? Every time I come back to base the beds and toys are gone

Yea, the basic bed and poppet are one-time use. They're just meant to tide you over until you can build permanent stuff. Level up your base by feeding your Drakes crystals. I'd highly advise pressing TAB, and then checking the tutorial messages you got in your Log :)
