I agree with a Capped reward to x1 or x2.
But this is by far the single thing that will most turn this from game to chore.
- If you go ahead and remove the bone from the reward multiplier i suggest the bone value to change depending on the map size (10$, 15$ and 30$ for small, medium and big maps respectivaly)
- If you do re-add the photos to the multiplier, i suggest the values of:
1$ for cursed possessions and ghost interactions (blow candle, throw item,
.......open door, flickering lights)
2$ for paranormal evidences (fingerprints, footprints, book writing, DOTs projection)
3$ for ghost events and rare paranormal evidences, (burnt crucifix, dirty water,
.......that smoke orb that chases you, red lights)
4$ for ghost pic in a ghost event
5$ for ghost pic in a hunt
- Remove the bonus from the uptade for custom modes, if you want to make people focus in the oficial modes (while doing my main suggestions in the OP). Even if you just cap the reward multiplier to 5x and remove the bonus from custom mode, it would stop the bone exploit while still giving a somewhat rewarding experience (as long as you rebuff the secondary objectives values)
- Checking the "don't lose itens on death" should cap the reward multiplier to 0.4x, so people can use it as a training mode with some reward still
On that note, the tutorial needs a revamp where the ghost is a special ghost that answers to all evidence, so new players know if they are doing stuff right, and that hunts the player but teleports him to the truck instead of killing him. Also having all cursed possesions (and their explanations on that tv) in the map.
