Now that doesn't sound like much... "oh you'll only get 125 bucks instead of 100 for playing on a medium map" - yeah, that's before you factor in the investigation bonus basically doubling all objective payouts, and then the rewards multiplier.
I'll save you the math on the matter and just give you a handy cheat sheet instead:
Medium Maps pay out +50*X
Large Maps pay out +100*X
('X' = the reward multiplier you are currently playing on)
You MUST get the ghost correct for this to line up; this is because the main objective is where the extra money for map size is established
It's still only 25% more.... I agree that it's not enough. IMO The medium map should be double the small map and the large map, say, 3 times the small map. That would be more reasonable.
That said, I also think the rewards should also be based on the number of players; identifying the ghost solo on the school should give more to the single player than 4 people individually get for doing the same task between the 4 of them.
