Phasmophobia II - Exorcisms (sequel game)
Not added to my wishlist thread because this is an idea for a future game, not the current one. However, it is likewise mostly just a pondering rather than a serious request.

So, I'm one of those who thinks that this game doesn't need exorcisms and would be harmed to include them. But the idea of playing the exorcism team we give our reports too is interesting.

Especially since I've repeatedly made the comment that my head canon is that the founder of this company is a reasonably high-intellect person who was able to logic out some patterns, then googled some ghost names and slapped together a journal with no accuracy what so ever.

This would be a slightly less horror-based puzzle game because of the fact that you will be banishing the ghosts, something you can't do with Phasmo.

My thoughts here
- The contracts will receive a report from Phasmo-1 investigators naming things according to the systems and ghosts types here.
- Lean into the fact that the Phasmo ghost types and gear aren't really accurate to real-life folklore. So part of the puzzle is taking what the report gives you and figuring out what the real ghost is.
- Hire some folklorists to consult on the matter to bridge the gap between accuracy and playability. (This can be done well, reference Scion 2e the TTRPG, Black Book (card battler), and Never Alone (platformer), or it can be done.... not so well, with hyper focus on
"accuracy"... reference Nephilim, the TTRPG)

Parts of the puzzle
- Figure out what ties the ghost here.
- Figure out what the investigators did to make the matters worse.
- Undo the the damage done by the investigators.
- Learn the ghost's story.
- Exorcise the ghost.

I kinda just want that experience of picking up a report and give a long suffering sigh at the next "banshee" reported and wondering how messed up the situation is.
