The ghost used to step in salt and not leave footprints, but that was changed a couple of months ago.
Current build, wraiths will not interact with salt at all. So common method of figuring out wraith is to place a line of salt in front of a motion sensor. Then if it triggers the sensor but doesn't step in salt, you know it's a wraith.
That said. There are some caveats with the new build.
Tier 1 Salt only has two piles of salt and the old method made a line of three, so you'll want to use two canisters of salt... or tier 2 salt.
Tier 2 and 3 motion sensors have different detection shapes from the line that the old style motion sensor (tier 1) has, so it's possible for a ghost to trigger tier 2 and 3 sensors without touching salt placed in front of it.
(specific areas of a wall that wont be too op but still a sucker punch to players of any skill level. BE ON YO TOES)
Walking through walls during hunts would be broken as hell.
