Dust specks should appear on maps where you're watching ghosts deep inside the building, where it has no windows.
We can add specific mechanics to it:
- Running around would launch dust specks in the air.
- Dust specks are visible to human eye, unlike ghost orbs.
- It should take around 3-5 minutes for dust specks to settle back down AND have a chance to reappear 10-15 minutes later.
- Dust specks can be affected by running, unlike ghost orbs.
Dust specks would just add a single rule you'll have to follow - don't run inside of rooms you want to investigate.
