Add checkbox in lobby for host "allow use items on floor"
It's a nice feature to use items lying on floor(saving 2 clicks out of 3), i can manage my lobby to play without trolls thx

I feel trolled by devs by anti quality of life change

btw about trolls, what you gonna do with people that lit up every smudge stick right after game starts?(or a bit sneaky, when everyone go to house)

I like this idea. I only coop phasmo with friends so trolling is not a concern to me, so being able to disable the anti-griefing mechanic would be useful.

I understand why it was implemented in the first place, but there should be an option to disable it for those who don't need it.

100% agreed. Why not make it an option, or only prevent it in public lobbies? With this change as it is, public players have managed to ruin something for all private players rather than just the public lobbies they were already otherwise trolling anyway.

Or not being able to use items in other people's hands only. That was the reason of the update, but somehow they managed to take away QoL to fix something that isn't even a real problem.
The only way to combat griefers is a kick menu.

At this rate they will remove smudge sticks because people are lighting it all up to troll lobbies, or removing the ability to pick up items because griefers are throwing stuff out of reach...
