I thought I was rusty... but every ghost hunt the ghost have been invisible. Every ritual circle lit the ghost is never summoned and instant kills us. The ghost has instantly killed us and its been varied.. So we did intermediate... then thought we worked it out... If the ghost kills you you sometimes see the ghost realm and it killing you. can see it in dots... can see it in events if its suppose to show up, but every hunt the ghosts regardless what they are are invisible.

Maybe my memory is foggy, but we used to do nightmare at the camp and seeing the ghost was a way of figuring out its speed and traits to deduce what ghost it is... incense doesn't really work if hte ghost is invisible. I have a new cpu set up, 9800/9070xt/ all amd this time around... little strange... We have played about ... 25 games... every ghost has been invisible... but we also survived and hid.. when the door was closed and random run out.. .but incense is useless if you don't see the ghost, I htought during its hunt it has to be visible in order to kill you? wraiths teleport I think... then you have sounds and 6 fingered ghosts. etc... call signs.. and ghost orbs are mostly useless as it can be always a mimic, but 4 evidence, but then harder things ghosts always hide evidence so two... anyways.. sort of confused here... are they suppose to be invisible, is there a model loading error what is going on?

Just spitballing here if it’s still an issue, may be an update error regarding the models, if you haven’t already tried a validation check or reinstall, I think there’s a special model for the Easter event (not played it yet) which may be causing the lack of setting it if that’s a glitched file for some reason. Hope you get/got it sorted :)

They are not invisible on my screen.... though there might be a glitch with the obake where the blink model that replaces the main ghost easter model is.... the same..... meaning you won't see the difference when it blinks the other model looks the same.
