Motion Sensor not sensoring
I just played a game and one of the objectives was to detect with a motion sensor. I have a tier 3 sensor, It was triggering, it was beeping a lot, it was a busy ghost. But it didn't trigger the objective and sadly I couldn't get my perfect game.

Anyone else having motion sensor issues?

I don't use the tier 3 Motion Sensor, so I'm unsure about this issue, but players- dead and alive- can trigger motion sensors.
I find tier 2 more reliable.
im having the same issue we couldnt do the last objective because we had tier 3 motion sensor. and even tho we heard the motion sensor clearly it didnt clear the objective.

Reminds me of a bugged spot on Ridgeview, near the top of the basement door and kitchen table, where the sensor just repeatedly flashes towards the door if placed there, even if the ghost isn't there. Possible that you encountered a similar spot?

Regardless, that's certainly a bug. Did you make sure to place it in several spots to rule out a bugged spot, or at least had multiple sensors placed?

Living players to not affect the T3 motion. Not sure about dead players since I've never used the T3 with (dead) friends.
Living players don't affect T3, if it was beeping constantly it was likely a bug, you needed to move it.
I just found this bug mid game and googled it. this discussion came up. I was so mad about my perfect game being messed up, but I think I found a work around. I will be equipping one tier 2 motion sensor, but also it seems that if a ghost is hunting, it will activate and complete the quest. It sensed the ghost a million times, but only during the hunt did it complete the quest
