Blood Moon Multiplayer

Anytime I play multiplayer and we do a blood moon house only the host of the room has the blood moon weather and effects everyone else in the lobby has normal weather and sanity drain. If any of us play single player we have the blood moon weather and effects is this a bug or is that normal?

My friend and I got the same problem. At the start at the event it works like it should, both of us had the blood moon weather. But now only the Lobby owner has the blood moon weather :( Hope this get fixed real quick, cause the event is over soon... T.T
