woodwind "lovers bench" teleports items

This has happened to me twice, once with my DOTS and today with the bone.

The bone location was marked "lovers bench" but I found it floating mid air close to the fireplace. This is the same location my DOTS spawned (floating) after I had placed it on the lovers bench and it dissapeared.
