Play with starter items daily not working after new update.

I played 2 games with only starter items and neither counted for the daily. I tried adding just the starter items as well. That didn't work either. Is this a known issue or is anyone else having this problem?

After the latest update the daily quest "Survive with the starter items" doesn't work. I have through a mission twice, first with starter items tier 2 and then with starter items tier 1, but quest is still not completed

Verified this bug myself just now. Before this last patch I would do the challenge mode as that counted for starter items. Didn't work. So I was like fine I'll do the starters with tier 3. Didn't work. So I made a specific loadout for tier 1 items to test this. Still didn't work. They managed to completely break this daily so it isn't possible to complete. The only thing I didn't do on the last two tests was to stick around for a hunt as a possibility of the "survive" wording. Both of them I got the ghosts correctly but obviously not perfect investigations as you don't have the gear required to get perfects on 99% of those with starter items.

Still an issue and I have screen shots if needed as well. Had a to do a wraith for my second attempt on this after thinking I messed up with an item. I left my original session and came back in to be sure it wasn't a bad connection as well before doing that run and still didn't give credit with that attempt.

Yeah - I came here to raise just the same issue. First run I had tier 3 starter items (which did used to work) and that didn't register so next time tried with all tier 1 starter items and it didn't register as completed.

Same issue, tried it twice now.

Can confirm. Did two runs with upgraded starter items. Didn't count. Did a run with un-upgraded starter items. Didn't count. Going to to another run with Tier 1 Starter items and seeing if surviving a hunt like stubbies2003 said would work. Gonna edit afterwards.

EDIT: Survived a hunt during a round, but did not get it either. Did not correctly guess the ghost on that, though, but that was never necessary for this daily task, AFAIK. So pretty sure it is actually broken right now.

Just a heads up to everyone, this is an acknowledged bug in the Discord. It's known and the devs are working on it.
