Movement problem
I have experienced this several times. If the ghost is near me but there is no Hunt / Event yet, the Charatker movement will change for a moment. Example: I wanted to go forward and instead my character went sideways and backwards. I just pressed W and tried it out several times.

I'm having this issue as well. I thought it might be because of dead characters or ghosts creating a weird hitbox barrier, but during a hunt the ghost was not near me, and my dead teammate said they were not close enough to me to cause it. I was trying to crawl into a closet to my northeast so used w and d, but something was pushing me straight ahead instead, preventing me from going in. I was holding a tier 3 smudge and tier 3 lighter, no headgear, but this has happened to me multiple times while crawling when holding other things.

Several items in the game have hitboxes that can collide with the player's hitbox if they're crouched, causing the wonky movement. The Tier 3 Incense is one of them, as well as others like the Tarot Cards, T2 Paramic, etc.

This is actually an issue caused by the player model hitboxes, and won't be fixable until custom player models are implemented.

Yeah they tried to fix the movement issue with the T3 Incense by having it not swing about IIRC, which worked for awhile but it was unrealistic to have something hanging on a chain not swing about so they reverted it... which brought the issue back.

This more or less confirmed that the issue is on the player models side... and yeah, hopefully they've got it fixed for the custom models later on. They could do something with the stock ones we got, but I dunno how reliable and/or simple that will be to adjust those.

Having the same problem, most commonly while trying to loop the kitchen counter in tanglewood, dont think it was caused by only a specific T3 item though. Feel like its a new bug.
