Music box glitch

Has anyone else experienced something similar after using the music box the ghost started an event and started walking towards the music box, so I drop the box and run to a hiding spot, after waiting for what felt like 2 minutes I could still hear the ghosts breathing but no footsteps, I leave the hiding spot and notice the ghost has disappeared but it was as if it was still standing there breathing loudly, front door was locked and didn't unlock at any point, I eventually had to leave the game.

We used the music box on maple campsite and it started to hunt. We waited about 2 minutes and the ghost was still hunting. We eventually decided to adventure out and we found the ghost behind the bathrooms and showers. We couldn't actually see the ghost but we could hear it and we could see our flashlight flickering. We tried using the equipment we had and it did not make it unstuck. The chosts foot steps only happened like once per minute. Once I left the game the ghost stopped hunting and that was that. also I couldn't swap my equipment the entire game so maybe that means something.

Yeah this pretty much describes exactly what happened to us as well except it was on Tanglewood, you could clearly hear from the audio where the ghost was supposed to be but there was just nothing there.
