Yokai broken?
We keep getting yokai a lot. But no spirit orb and no spirit box. It Attacks early. ... Oh and it likes to sprint back and forth through the DOTS projector .

Yokai can early hunt as high as 80% ATS if you speak near it. Orbs require you to figure out the ghost room (which isn't always the room it plays around in the most). Spirit Box is sometimes finicky, but it might only respond to one person at a time.

yup. Still bugged. There's footprints all over. also seems like the mic detection sends the aggression through the ceiling.

I mean, you're just literally describing it's listed strengths. The Journal even says plain as day "Talking near a Yokai will anger it, increasing the chance of an attack".

As for the footprints - that equates to increased activity... which all ghosts do if you try to speak to it. Yokais I think are more likely to do this in particular, but given they hunt at a higher threshold for talking... it's obviously a double edged sword.

Oh they do... but all ghosts can leave footprint trails in salt... except for the Wraith (which used to interact with salt but left no trace - now, it just doesn't interact with it period)

If you're looking for fingerprint evidence - it has to specifically be things like hand prints on doors, or fingers on light switches and keyboards. it's not the first time I've heard of people thinking footprints count too, but I can tell you with certainty that they do not.
