How do you exit the game when you finish for the evening? There's a currently known issue that closing the game in ANY manner except using the Exit button on the main menu will cause your progress for that session to be lost. That includes crashes, alt+f4, closing via task manager, clicking the "Stop" button on steam, clicking the little x in the corner when in windows mode, and any other method of closing the game that is not using the exit button on the main menu.

So if crashing is an issue, exit via the main menu from time to time; And if you use any other method to close the game, stop doing that till the patch for it comes out.

I'd say you could join the discord and seek help there; But they're currently inundated with help requests and not currently accepting more tickets till they catch up, So you're going to get your progress back long before you'd get support for the loss.

So.. Essentially, Noooope. Progress gone.
