The new update?? Why is everything so dark all of the sudden. Cant see at all. I even turned my brightness up and it is still ridiculously dark.

Oh, friend of mine got the same problem. Also sometimes we got "blackout" curtains on Tangelwood window. But it was transparent for a clock and room light.

I found a way how to fix it.
Got the same bug when I launched phasmophobia.
Try right-clicking phasmophobia in your library then go to properties, installed files and select ''check the integrity of the game files'' option. After full inspection the download will start. After that try starting phasmophobia. It helped me, so i think it will help you too.

i experienced this in VR when i was playing the game in a VM....
i found what fixed it for me is to go to the game's video settings, and lower the texture resolution.
