I have no clue. I'm not the dev of this game
As much as i enjoy the game, and want to enjoy it, the constant FPS drops/lags/frame skips is getting beyond a joke now.
Cant enjoy anything, as soon as you look in a certain direction, or you are close to "Ghost interactions" - The fps stuttering are just to much, constantly kills the immersion for me and the mrs personally.
This game is becoming crappier and crappier every day.
Well because i got these problems since day one, ill give it a negative untill is fixed.
Runs fine, soon as you look at the house - 0fps for few seconds, then its fine.
Go in the house, fine.....ghost moves somewhere, fps 0 - few seconds, then fine.
constantly repeating this non stop, just laggyness and annoyance.
If you use an Nvidia card turn on vsync.... It seems that the game runs with 100% GPU trying to get your FPS up to 300+ fps which causes the stuttering.
After i turned on Vsync in the nvidia panel the GPU usage lowered down from 99% to 60-70%...
Still not very optimized but better then before.
Before the halloween patch it was still definitly better and smoother...
Interesting! I'll have to check it out.
I wonder though, how does this affect something that is most likely based on the netcode?
