All three evidence, but no Ghost type? / More than three evidences?

We've had couple games where we found 4 evidence: Fingerprints, Ghost Orb, Freezing Temp and EMF5 (All evidence confirmed by 3 players, red light EMF, minus 0cels etc.). And we also had one game where we got all three evidences, but it didn't gave us any Ghost type. Anyone else having same issues? I'm hooked to this game. :D

It would be better if people photo the evidence(thermometer screen, EMF with 5 lights, video camera screen, fingerprints should already be at the journal).
This way you can be 100% sure noone misinterpreted anything. Also it is healthy to be the second person to confirm things. Always try to "squeeze in" to see if what person is saying is true.

One of you must have misjudged something. I swear there wasn't one occasion where I would find 4 evidence or find 3 but there was no ghost type in my almost 100 hours of playing this game.

over my 177hrs of gameplay i haven't ever encountered this, sounds to me like false positives.

That started with the recent update on the Beta branch.

Never happened to me in the 250+ hours.

And that it is why it's called 'beta', and even there it never happened to me but the beta has some more problems so it's better to switch to the normal branch instead.

Just had this issue myself. Had ghost writing, spirit box and dots projector but apparently it's impossible to have those three. It was a Poltergeist some how yet we couldn't get one of the evidences needed for it

You were missing fingerprints. DOTS will only show the ghost's silhouette walking though (at 2-3x normal speed) if they have such evidence, and this does NOT account for ghost events.

It’s possible to have 3 evidences with no ghost option for the mimic, this is due to ghost orbs circling around the mimic but not on the actual mimic. With further investigation you’ll find the other correct piece of information. Threw me for a loop first mimic I had because there’s no way to know which piece of evidence is incorrect without reading the ghost log in the journal.

This thread is almost as old as this game. Some things were quite different back in the day and the mimic didn't even exist. Why revive such an old thread? This topic was clearly just a matter of someone misinterpreting evidence as I don't recall experiencing a bug like that, and I used to play this game a lot at that time.
