Where are the patch notes?
What was the most recent update for? There's nothing, even on the useless discord, at all about why we had to download yet another pile of bloatware for this game. If it's for a bug, tell us. If it's just to take away the hastily thrown-together-from-last-year's-detritus Easter event, TELL US. Hiding in your holes with fingers in your ears yelling incoherently and not telling players anything at all doesn't let us help you improve the game, which, by the way, is the purpose of being early access.

-removed Easter Event as it's now completed.

There's your silly patch note for a single thing removed. xD Most devs, by the way, don't give patch notes for every little thing they added or removed, some don't even bother with hotfix patch notes. While they DO need to add someone to update us people not wanting to join the hostile toxic discord, they have shown that isn't really a priority.

Bloatware..? there was no file added, there was a few files changed/reverted to normal, which might've broke a few things for some people.

Until I see patch notes, I assume the update does nothing and I'm downloading added files for no reason, because I've never seen a dev aside from these and Magic Arena's that do this; AND there have been patches for Phas in particular that just did nothing. The patch notes were either made up bugs to say they fixed something, or just didn't work at all or both. Most devs I've experienced have a shred of decency and transparency. These don't. I don't see a reason not to put out patch notes, especially for a single thing. It'll take like a minute to type up and goes a long way toward players' trust. It would also give the devs and players alike documentation that could point them in the direction they need to look to find out what that single-item update broke and how to fix it.
Thank you for the answer though despite the unnecessary condescending tone.

So what's this about an update today? Because I literally see nothing... no blue game in my list, no recent download history I wasn't already aware of, nothing.

Given no update notes either, if there was anything... it was probably just some backend issues that didn't warrant a version update. Otherwise, most recent update should have been the one to close the Easter event for this year

People barely read the patch notes as it is though, so giving them more to read isn't going to help. There's been numerous posts complaining about "Spirit" being circled as default, which was intentional. or the summoning circle being changed, was also noted. so, I get your point on wanting more transparency, and there should be. However, like I said when majority of the player base ignores the notes on changes, it wouldn't accomplish much.

early access lost it's meaning back when playstation 3 was relevant.

early access now these days is a way to release an unfinished game and charge people for it. it doesn't matter about your "input." you can use dead by daylight as an example of this. that was a finished game that they periodically released dlc for and it sat in "early access" for almost 5 years before the "early access" banner was removed from the game. it has nothing to do with player feedback.

it's used as an excuse to release an unfinished product for sale or as a scapegoat for when things aren't going to plan when they release content that breaks the game without any prior testing before release these days and they expect you to crowd source info for them instead of them paying for it with internal testing.

this type of behavior from publishers and developers was unheard of 18 years ago. it's mainstream these days because everyone feels like they need to be part of some sort of "alpha" or "beta testing phase" of the game where your opinions matter, when they don't because they can just push out live updates as needed instead of providing a working and functional finished product.

Look up the Easter Event-Patch Notes. They also include the end date of the Event, which was the most recent patch. I personally don't see a reason to copy paste that into a new patch notes-notification, if nothing else was changed beyond that.

Quite strange, how you demonize EA that hard, but are clearly supporting it yourself. Nothing stops you from simply waiting an additional year before buying that game. That would be the initial release anyway, if it wasn't being in EA along the way.

They are just silly pointless events. No one is going to care you completed them all. Idc if Psycho or Insym completes events over their steams. They are just doing it because they are friends with them. I only got two (Halloween and Christmas). When the Easter event came out, I wasn't interested.
