Hay, like for a week or two all my settings are reset to default each time i start the game.
Does anyone else got those issues or is there any way to fix it?

It might be a in game bug that is doing this to a bunch of players. I got inflicted twice maybe a third time and it is annoying now then ever. I would suggest to report it to Discord.

Mine don't even go to default. My volume and reticle slider go all the way down to 0 randomly on start.

I'm in the same spot. They got the console update out and then abandoned fixing any bugs.

I'm experiencing similar problems. I've adjusted the settings in question back to how I normally have them, but when I come to play again later the problems have returned. It's so annoying having to readjust things. Guess it's a bug, with it affecting a number of players, so hopefully it'll get fixed.

Yeah having the same problem here, but for me these bugs only started after I downloaded the new NVIDEA app and accidentally optimized all my games. I've reverted it since but the bugs started since then.

Yes, the same with me. The bugs appeared after the NVIDIA update.

I’ve been having the same issue. Has anyone seen any fix?

Looks like not only me that got this issue huh. I got the same issue: volume slider set to 0, reticle visibility and size set to 0, video resolution set to the lowest resolution (the 4:3 ratio), brightness set to 0.

It's the new Nvidia update. Go into the new Nvidia app and turn off the optimized settings. Every time you start the game up with Nvidia trying to optimise it, it changes it.

THIS IS THE SOLUTION
How do you do this? I am in the Nvidia app, but I don't see or have any recollection of turning on optimizing settings.. This problem started when the console update came out. Can someone explain where these settings are?

The way I did it was by launching the NVIDIA App, which on my PC is in the "NVIDIA Corporation" folder in the Windows 10 "Start" menu. Then I hovered over the "Phasmophobia" game image in the Library and selected "SETTINGS". Then I turned off optimisation in the top right-hand corner by clicking on "REVERT".
I don't know if that will work for you, but that's how I did it.
