This one seemingly isn't too bad. The ghost seems to move at a much slower pace, so you can outrun it fairly easily. Tag, I guess. So get that fuse box on and turn on hallway lights at least to help you out and give you hunt indicators, try to narrow down the ghost room since medium map school has SO MANY ROOM to overcompensate for medium size, and just make sure to keep your head on a swivel and make sure to saunter off if the ghost is active. You'll get it eventually. Carry smoke cleanse sticks for in case you get pinched.
Also I normally have my brightness at 1.0 and that keeps things creepy enough while still visible with the lights on, but these bigger maps are so dark that I cranked that brightness to max for this one. It's cheap and cheaty but a Brownstone challenge has enough going on for it :p
As for tips, Go in the front door and immediately hide in the library on the right- In the back left corner there's two spots you can safely tuck yourself in against any non-deo ghost. Wait for the first hunt, and listen. If you hear it, it's near you; If you don't then tentatively venture from your hidey hole and go looking while listening very carefully and keeping nearby hiding spots in mind- You're trying to find the ghost's rough area without it finding you.
Once you know roughly where it is, a couple cameras in the rough area between hunts (Ghosts cant hunt for the 25 seconds after the previous hunt ends, except demon who can hunt after 20), and use that to narrow down the exact room.
Once you know the exact room, hide close to it for the next hunt, then the moment it ends, go drop crucifixes in the area, and take the cam and check it and the hallway and the nearby rooms for orbs between hunts- If you're fast enough, you should be able to check all the spots and get back into hiding before it starts again.
Go in and drop dots, set the cam up to watch it, and get out.
Then repeat this method for fingerprints, and spirit box, go in check a couple times, go hide. Go in, check a couple times, go hide.
For EMF, only check if you hear an action that can give EMF and you can safely get in and out in time.
Don't turn on the power; You'll get freezing in short order if applicable.
Have smudge and lighter 100% of the time; Yes, that means more trips back and forth, but if you're not confident in surviving without it, it's better to make more trips and take advantage of the 25 seconds of guaranteedly safe action between hunts. Dont forget that IF you smudge the ghost mid hunt, it will be prevented from hunting for the next 90 seconds minus however much of the current hunt is left. (180 seconds if it's a spirit)
