Graphic really went down after the new update? I've got all max settings but the game keep looking like 144p.

The graphics got so much crisper and better looking for me at 4k, lighting looks really nice too. Not for everyone I guess.

it looks like garbage for me ever since the update and its taking up so much of my computer, my friends are having the same issues. Also the night vision on the video camera is so weird rn you can barely see anything

Looks really bad and getting a lot of particle effects on screen. My whole group has it too.

Only problem I have had with graphics is the shadow resolution quality needs to be re-applied every time I start the game or it looks really bad

also, graphics look way better when you die, and better than it used to look, but the rest is really bad.

Definitely looks better overall, though some areas definitely still need some improvements. But given, that it's still in development you shouldn't be surprised, if stuff still gets developed down the road.

when im looking at the monitor on the truck, the image often looks all pixelated like a 480p video on 28k modem. That was never a thing

Turn off FX Fidelity. It renders the game at a low res > upscales to your res
and FX 1.0 is terrible. 2.0 is much better.
The update without FX enabled is great looking

Mine is already off. Whats weird is I'll play the camp map and when its raining it looks fine, but when its the fog, it looks awful, like minecraft. What is causing that?

Some shadows are really bad, I don't even need uv light I can see squares on the windows

If it's only during fog then it's probably the fog quality setting, tbh anything other than the highest looks super ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to me

Oof. Not loving this update. Really rough graphics--even with setting options. Camera and night vision scope is rough as well. Spent more time trying to SEE in the game than hunt for a ghost.

Camera night vision is awful it's almost as if they've never watched a ghost hunting show for reference......also now im getting black screens when i finish a round. I can still hear the game but cant see anything forcing me to force quit which then resets my progress of the xmas cookie quests, so thats fun.

Agreed the game looks considerably worse than it did before. When you get close to a wall you get a strange effect that looks like freezing temps and also everything is pixelated. Also the lighting is terrible, some objects that have no light near them are perfectly lit while others are just perfect black (even some areas of the floor look like this now).

It feels like a downgrade for the Quest, other VR games have had similar issues.

The fog does look truly awful at anything other than High, I wish I could just disable it.

Another issue I had was first-launch after the update my graphics settings were at 1024x768 instead of 2560x1440 so that obviously looked really bad until I fixed it.
