onryo test not working

ive tried the onryo test (3 firelights and a crucifix) 3 times and each time the crucifix has burned before all three firelights have burned out. anyone else having this issue

What tier of equipment are you using? For an onyro, the lights counts as a tier 2 crucifix for range. That means if you are using a tier 1 crucifix, the lights range extends past the area the crucifix covers (which can mess up the test). And if you are using a tier 3 crucifix, the range is greater than the range of the light (which again, can mess up the test).

Keep in mind it is every 3rd candle it blows out, so if you don't keep accurate count it can mess things up. If the third candle goes out and there is another candle in range, the ghost is smudged, or everyone is outside it won't hunt and that can throw off your count too.

As mentioned above, it could of just wandered outside the range of the candles too.
