New players

Why joining custom games over 11x if u are sitting in a truck or standing behind a fence and then asking what the ghost is without any trying to figure it out yourself or getting involved at least trying to. How about u guys start from professional lvl and then after a while of learning at least half of them join a custom. People want fast xp without any doing themselfs. I started playing solo for a long while before going into these and most of the people only want shortcuts. Discusting....

If someone isn't helping I don't bother telling them what we've got. One thing to be new and in the house asking questions and learning. Whole other to just sit around expecting an easy hand out. I let one the other day go on believing it was a Banshee just because all the got was dots while the rest of us knocked out photos and objectives while gathering evidence.

He saw dots move towards a player, drew a conclusion and I didn't bother correcting.

This game doesn't throw people directly into a game, so rather use the time in the lobby to discuss the expectations of the players (especially important for higher difficulties). That usually works better instead of complaining about it afterwards.

That would make too much sense.. lol instead they get their jollys off by downgrading others who don't know how a game works or if they don't understand the game as much as they do..

Because they implemented the Payday2 levelling system. so a lot of new people just want to grind levels faster so they don't have to wait to get decent gear. Which is one of my new issues with the game, because in the past you used to have good equipment in the lobby ready to go and you would play a game or two. Used to be a nice party game. Now its become more serious to the point we have Payday2 style grinds as well as broken events that don't even reward players for participation. At least let us get bonus XP and Cash for taking item from the house as "Evidence."

Some new players might not realise they're joining games that are 11x multiplier. I don't think there's any sort of lobby sort when you go to the multiplayer section so they're just shown everything and are probably clicking on lobbies that have space.

You can filter out custom matches entirely. Under the Multiplayer tab where it shows open lobbies in the upper left there is the box for your region and next to it is a half hour glass looking symbol. Click on that, toggle so custom has an X through it and everyone currently set to a custom is filtered out.

Wish it would save that because I never play customs with people and constantly have to reset the filter every time I look for a lobby. Be handy if it would just save the preference. Also be handy if you could filter specific difficulty settings. Nothing sucks more than me getting in and finding it is a Amateur or Intermediate lobby. Then having to go all the way back to the main menu to try again.

Also be nice if it auto filters out hosts on your block list as well. Kind of a pain loading in and seeing they are someone you blocked earlier.
