Devs, dont touch tangle.
As doubtful as it is the developers will read this, it is even more doubtful that the Tanglewood rework will be good. Reworks are for maps that are not played/fun. That's why maple lodge is no longer shaped like a big backwards Z. Tanglewood is one of the most popular and played maps in the game. The layout and the history make is synonymous with Phasmos identity. I admit I am bias as it is my favorite map, though I recognize the popularity proven online over and over again. I feel many see it as erasing a piece of phasmo, and with 1 update every 6 months the confidence that it could even be done well is shaky at best. Grafton and Bleasedale are not nearly as popular, so the fear of damage is much less on that side of the fence. Maybe I'm alone or stuck in the past on this one, i would just like to voice my thought on the idea of changing the first ever phasmo map.

I would like to hear other civil opinions. agreements or disagreements.

I think reworking it is inevitable - since they want to move away from stock assets. However, I completely agree that it should stay pretty much as-is. Any changes should be visual only - don't mess with it - and remain in a similar style and feel to what it is now (within the bounds of any copyright on the current stock assets). TBH, I would rather it stay completely as-is - at least for now - and a completely new one created alongside.
Yeah, stepping away from the stock assets is definitely something vital.
Would be strange to have all maps being reworked with high quality assets and then there's Tanglewood inbetween, still looking like people just pretending to live there or it looking like it's important from a different game alltogether.

Though, i hope that they keep the layout as is and mostly doing visual updates to keep the overall feeling of the map. Also i wouldn't mind to have the lobby slightly reworked, as the walls simply don't make any sense and which is the only thing i don't like about Tanglewood.

Yes!, YES!, rework Tanglewood NOW!!!!

Farm house need to be different.

The Prison Map and Brown Highschool needs the fix rework.

YES!!!!!!
my opinions on the high school is "please look at an actual school layout".

Where's the admin office? Where's the nurse's station? What's that puny library? Where's the auditorium for whole school addresses?

They've redone Tanglewood before, chill. Not the end of the world. Everyone is acting like it'll be another Lighthouse map, 8 floors, considered a small map. Personally I'd rather High School and Prison get reworks first since they need it. Both need less wide open spaces, more clutter and restricted versions.
Do they touch anything on this game?

Evidently yes, if you've looked at any of the patch notes since the game came out.
Is tanglewood popular because people love the design, or because it is an easy small house?

Nostalgia. It's the first house and the oldest one.

They've made changes to it before. Most players these days don't know the laundry room door used to be in the kitchen instead of off the hall. Them removing the stock unity assets to replace them with their own designs wont be the end of the world.

More people are going to be upset over losing crouch run than any Tanglewood change that comes along. Higher tier game play is going to have major changes coming it's way when character movement gets reworked. But next to no one is talking about that, everyone is hung up on a house.
Yeah, the only person I've heard express concern about crouch running is Insym.

Likely because crouch running isn't something you need in 99% of the situations you'll find yourself in.
