As far as I’m aware there is no difference - ghost orbs manifest
the same for all ghosts.
This game is heavily relying on RNG in most systems, so it's probably happening here as well.
The orb will always be there, if you don't see it, it is because it is in a weird position that is difficult to see, possibly inside another object. Since they made it so it can't go through walls, it also means if for whatever reason it spawns outside the room(because the room boundary is right up against a thin wall or something), it will get stuck outside and not get back in until it goes to the next location.
