What does the rocking chair interaction photo count as?

So I was just playing on Tanglewood and I have a basment ghost, it rocked the rocking chair so I took a photo of it expecting an interaction photo. But it ended up being a 3 star Ghost photo. Is this normal?

It should count as an Interaction. The only 2 explanation i would've would be that it's either a bug or that you had a Phantom, which coincidentally spawned right in front of you for an event at the same time you've took that picture.

Should be an interaction photo normally. Maybe a ghost evented right behind it? Or, if it was a DOTS ghost, they may have walked by when you took the picture. Phantoms in particular don't show up in photots at all, so if you had a Phantom that round then it makes more sense.

No it ended up being a Thaye for that game. So yeah I was thinking it was some sort of bug. However, it rocked the chair again and I took another photo and it counted as a 3 star Interaction.

I mean there wasn't any event that I noticed at the same time, but it's possible. Also it's possible it was a dots ghost. However, I only have the tier 1 dots projector and it was placed on the ice chest/cooler behind me facing toward the back/left of the basement

If it was a Thaye then it may have just did DOTS at the time you took the picture, and the part the camera caught wasn't very visible.

ah yeah, probably that. Totally forgot that the DOTS-ghost photo can always be take, even whithout the dots shining on it^^

Ah interesting, I could've swore i tried taking a photo of the dots ghost before and not getting anything for it. But it's possible that I already had the ghost photo in that game prior. I didn't do a lot of testing tbh.

I've just seen it once in a content creators video, where they've used the T1 dots and waited for DOTS-Ghost to appear, so that they can cycle through the items and still take the picture.

Obviously doesn't really have that much of a use case in most peoples playstyles, but getting a random ghost photo like that is definitely nice^^ Lets just hope, that we don't get accidental 2 star photos, until they implement the photo reward overhaul.

Yeah. I've had many ghost photos that practically look blank because they just left the DOTS light as I was taking the picture, but still managed to get as a 3-star.

Photos have been buggy since Ascension dropped, so it's possible that it either glitched out or you simply had a prior photo. Still, DOTS photos are always cool to get.
