Spanish, Japanese, and perhaps Chinese are known to have lacking capability for recognition in VOSK, at least in Phasmo. I could try digging deeper if somebody wishes to know about a particular language, but I'd prefer to do that on Discord side and you can just find out how it works for you anyways. Some languages can have very different regional dialects and so on, as well as technical aspects of their setup like how much background noise you get.
But since it was added, many people had problems with the new system (which isn't that surprising, since Microsoft can put tons of money into developing its systems, especially for big languages), so now they've added an option for you to choose either of those options.
Without knowing your accent i would guess, that Windows will more likely work better, but ultimately just test both options and stick with the one which works better
