Does Mare turn out lights?

I was told that she wouldnt turn on lights, but in my game she turns on. Does she turn on lights or no by default?

Mare never turns on lights and will more often turn off lights and do ghost events that permanently destroy lights.
Mare can also normally interact with the power box.

If it turns on lights, then it's either not a mare, a bug or a cheater messing with some things.

mare also starts hunting when it turns off the lights in an ghost event iirc

Mares can turn on small lamps as far as I know, but the room lights they can't.

Mares can't turn on lights, however it can turn on the power box. If the light happens to be on, and it turns on the power, it might look like it turned on the light.
