game coming to xbox

i read online that this game was coming to newer gen xbox and i was hyped to play with my friend but it said it will release some time in august and i was wondering does anyone have a specific date?

No specific date other than Late August sadly - It is a separate launch from the progression overhaul

There's no specific date yet, because the devs are still not 100 % sure, if they can release it in time. They might say something about it eventually either on the Discord or in a dev preview, until then it's only known to be planned for late august.

Good luck playing Phasmo using a controller. I cannot picture my self handicapping myself using a controller. Maybe with the steam controller, but not a controller controller.

You can call Controllers a handicap, though at the same time you're also implying M+K being a baby mode for people, who can't master gaming to its full extend.

Jesus, that is a huge leap in "logic" there. False equivalence and whatnot. Dude feels like he would not perform as well with or generally enjoy using a controller for this game. That's gonna be an opinion plenty of people have, and that's fine. He wasn't implying anything else at all; the implication you made is your own, and seems weirdly intense.

The logic leap was already made by someone, who answered a question nobody asked. And if you're being an elitist (or defending one), then don't be surprised if people take your unnecessary comment and throw it back to you with a sarcastic joke.
