Did a recent update break VR?

I play with my friends and I'm the only one who use VR. I have a HP Reverb G2 and everything was working OK before (well, OK for Phasmophobia) but now my controllers do not work in the game. They work in Steam VR but in game my hands just stay at my feet and do not move at all.

Anyone else? Sucks, VR just feels so much more intense with this game and is the only way I want to play it.

used to have a team of 4, all in VR. Now none of us play because they don't bother to fix anything

I have Reverb G2 V2 and everything's working quite okay for me.
If you have the V1 version, then disregard my comment, technically not the same headset.

it's hilarious as the game was initially VR only but now it's all but abandoned. The OpenXR move seemed to be the last time any interest was worked in it. If there's not some major VR work in the patch notes I may not bother anymore, I only play pancake when I didn't feel like putting on the headset that night and it's so much of a performance and crashing hassle for 6 months+ now. I got a bad feeling they may just ax or minimize support even more

VR is complete trash right now. Sad to think that earlier this year a patch dedicated to VR came out and just made the experience even more terrible.

The dev screwed up big time. Good luck to them to port that trash on the Playstation VR, they won't even get pass the stress test they have to go through before releasing it.

I also have a problem with VR, before that everything worked fine, now as soon as I play in a network game, (it doesn’t matter, in an empty lobby, or with people) after about 5 minutes I crash into the main menu, the Internet is stable, my PC : RTX 3050, 8GB RAM, i5 10400f

Wow didn't know the game was originally VR. Seems like VR was an afterthought lmfao.

i have a light glitch that only appear in VR..... dead was fine day before....

Just wanted to update I played on new update and everything with my VR actually works fine now and even better than before.
