Can't take a photo of a ghost during a hunt

Does anyone else have problems taking a photo of the ghost during a hunt? I have always had trouble with it but recently I've been testing it and every time 10/10 photos turn out blank. It works with ghost events and summoning circle though.

Photos during hunts have always been hit-and-miss, nothing new there. Events/Summoning/Monkey Paw wishes work consistently because the ghost is not flashing in and out of existence midway through.

You can only take pictures, while they're visible, which makes it quite hard to take them in hunts. If you want to do it for the side objectives, then rather spam a whole camera on them, as the chances are higher to get a picture that way.

They blink in and out, so unless it's a helpful ghost that likes to stay visible you kinduv have to point at where it is and multi-tap it even if you can see it.

This week's challenge with slow ghost and frequent hunts makes for fun practice at it.

Don't take photos during hunts. Always wait for a ghost event or use a cursed item to force the ghost to appear.
