They did however upgrade the physics on the players/doors with 0.11.0, so the problem *SHOULD* be fixed... but I don't have them yet so I haven't tried myself.
That all said - The issue was most noticeable when you were crouching, and you can just try to get the issue to happen again through experimenting, and if it does... there's absolutely nothing stopping you from changing back down to the T2 Incense.
In not so many words - no reason not to upgrade, because even if there is still a bug/issue it will likely get patched... and you can freely change between unlocked item tiers anyway in the meantime.
