Report a translation problem
Bring UV Glowstick instead, and drop it by the door, or come close to the door, look straight up and drop the UV flashlight. If done correctly, the flashlight will bright up the hand print. Dropping the UV flashlight further might also work.
You can still just take a photo of the door, and the Fingerprints would still be registered in your journal, even if you have no UV sources near it, and the fingerprint is not visible to the eye.
