No flashing torch during hunt?
Just played a couple of rounds post-update. I died in the first one and experienced a normal hunt as before. The second hunt I experienced was in the school and my torch did not flash, but the corridor lights did and the walkie-talkie did not work. My friend said their torch also didn't flash but my other friend said his did, and he got killed by the ghost. Is this a glitch or a new feature? Does the torch only flash when you are near the ghost now?

I think that's the point. I am not sure if different ghosts influence your gear differently, though.

Yes, idr where I read it but your torch will only flicker if the ghost is in range of it during a hunt.

After the last big update in my opinion now it is a bit more difficult to know when a ghost hunt starts because you only see the classical flashing lights when the ghost is close to a light.

Also notice that after the update the ghost can detect you if you are carrying any electronic device which is turned on (except the head cam).

So if the lights of the building are off and the only light is your flashlight, then you could be easy killed because you will no realease that the hunt started until you will be too close from the ghost (also the ghost will detect you due to your flashlight turned on close to him).

:steamfacepalm:

I think it would be interesting to have a new item that could bring some kind of alert in case of a ghost hunt, so whenever a hunt starts you will be alerted whithout the need of being close to the ghost.

Just had a revenant hunt and kill me without my flashlight flashing whatsoever. Maybe this was a bug. The reason I was even close enough to get f*cked over by this was because the revenant seemingly produced light, and I mistook it for a fellow player coming up the stairs to meet up with me. It wasn't a fellow player. I was more than surprised...... What we learned from this (after doing some research) is that continuous noise from a ghost is a sign of an ongoing hunt. Wimpering, moaning, crying, singing, any ghost sound that is continuous
is a indication of an active hunting phase.
