How's the VR version
I have a Quest 2. Is this Steam VR version playable on Quest 2 or is the Meta Quest 2 store version better? I want to get this game for my VR headset. Also, is there crossplay between pc and vr user?

Hey! Quest 2 user here. There is crossplay between PC ("pancake") and VR players. While I always use Steam VR, and as such can't speak about the differences between which version runs better, I can say that VR has been fairly crappy with Phas since the VR Overhaul update (ironic, right?), and has progressively gotten worse / gets less attention.

Getting the game on Steam allows for both VR and traditional PC play, which is a plus since sometimes Phas VR works for a bit, and sometimes it's just chaos and you decide to play pancake instead. Cheers.

I second this. It's really sad, but they made it worse with a VR update a year+ back, then haven't done much of anything to improve it

few examples:
- Door interaction used to be smooth and work well, now its a janky mess
- VR users will sometimes see a different monitor in the van than pancake
- Some items, like one of the flashlights, doesn't sit properly on your belt, so its just point at the ceiling instead of where you're looking

It's playable, but not good

Noted, was looking to buy this but I wanted to Play in VR while my friends in pancake mode. Sounds like VR is a after thought for them. Sad to hear that. I enjoy playing scary games in VR compared to pancake.
The game is more immersive in VR, it's just that the mechanics make the game harder to play. Things like hiding from the ghosts is a challenge because of how the doors work as others have mentioned. This could be great in VR, and it's still fun to play in VR, it just has some issues that prevent it from being as great as it could be.
