Spirit box not working?

As title says, can get a yokai so many times, and sit there in the room where its with a spirit box, and that ♥♥♥♥♥ does not wanna talk to me :( Anyone else?

If you talk to it enough on the spirit box, it'll just start hunting a ton whenever you use it.

Well that's in part it's ghost ability. If you talk near it, the ghost can hunt. So if you notice, that it keeps hunting whenever you use the spirit box....

You put the crucifix down, keep a smudge on you just in case, and use the spirit box properly. The ghost interacts with things in the room, so watch where it is doing things and go to that spot to ask the questions.

Also, make sure all the lights in the room are off and you are alone. A ghost can sometimes answer with multiple people in the room, but sometimes requires you to be alone. Best to just get into the habit of testing the spirit box while alone.

Im talking about it actually responding though for the evidence, becasue i found where it would spawn an haunt me if i asked to many questions near it, but it never responds. I did just realize that the low level items are bad range and such. Wasnt aware of the buy system fully. I left before the new item overhaul i guess

Yes, I have the same issue. Then when neither my girlfriend nor I are talking, we get a random spiritbox response without any voice activity.

Same, I think i just got so used to the game when it first came out, where all items were good, not low level stuff you have to replace.

Well the ghost ability, although not as reliable compared to straight up evidence, can still be used as evidence in it's own right, which is basically what I'm saying.

That happens by default, mainly for players that don't use microphones or only use text but anyone can do that.
