So if they see it's too slow, they can re-calibrate to make it possible. Just keep at it.
So good, i need this trophy :P
And in hindsight... starting as bonkers hard as they did was the correct move - it allowed them to properly factor in the influx of console players, which in turn made sure that the event wasn't absolutely crushed within the first couple of days. I've seen a community event be too easy before and... well lets just say that particular event got defeated in like two days, and then they added in a new goal that basically doubled the events length 'XD
IMO... next time they do a community event like this... they should at least require a minimal amount of games to participate in order to claim things like the ID cards and/or trophies. Like maybe something along the lines of correctly identifying five ghosts in valid event maps for example.
Because it is pointless. It's a "feel good" event so we can pretend that Kinetic didn't waste an unreasonable amount of time on console ports instead of actually finishing their game.
Literally the only thing I care about is new maps and the "horror 2.0" update.
I want more Small maps mind you, the big ones are an absolute bore fest. They add literally nothing to the game.
