Can you just not be absolute cretins? Either offer advice, or don't add any more toxicity to this community.
ikr, you either have to study guides till your eyes bleed or play hundreds of hours to passivily learn every ghosts mannerisms. this is not appropriate for weekly challenge as it is 100% not acesseble to somewhat new players.
Honestly, this weekly is actually bad.
If you set up a custom difficulty with the same settings that this challenge provides, you would earn so much more money from it. Full on Apocalypse is basically 15x reward multiplier, minus you having normal speed and sprint, which I would assume is still about 10x multiplier.
Aside from the fact that you dont lose your gear here, I'm not sure why this would be worth doing over high reward custom difficulty missions.
So instead of learning yourself, you're going to flood the discussions asking others to learn for you, then have them paraphrase exactly what's in those guides... while thinking that weekly challenges are required to be completed? If you can't do them, just don't do them... it's not the end of the world.
In this weeks case (for context) - the weekly challenge is basically Apocalypse Lite: Max settings but normal player speed, and on Sunny Meadows Restricted. Definitely a 10/10 in terms of overall difficulty.
If you think a weekly challenge is out of your wheelhouse, you should at least give it a try to see if you can do it, but otherwise just ignore it for that week - you'll probably enjoy getting that five grand easier from just playing normally than smashing your head into a brick wall you hate.
There's no point in even doing it.
Seriously if you get decent at figuring out the ghost by hunt behavior you can get almost 5k from one match and you can do it in about 2 minutes flat.
Go to the small camp, tune the difficulty appropriately so you start crazy and have a roughly 13x modifier, and then just watch it hunt once.
If you're good you can get it right about half the time and make an insane amount of money per hour.
3 missions that pay out pitiful money for the reward of a single mission you could do in 2 mins is a joke.
Yes, but it doesn't mean they need to be rude or give attitude about it, or just be dismissive to someone's struggle.
So yes, I was looking for tips for this week too. I don't care about the money, I don't care about easy or extremely difficult. I just want to get better, and while I am usually quite good at these challenges, this one is also giving me the 'whuuut?'
Listen to the footsteps is the first thing I normally would try with this, but the ghosts all clearly have higher speed, so that doesn't seem to help. Sometimes the room is so far away that you can't even reach it before getting hunted. I can hide maybe a couple of times but I don't feel like I can hide enough to do it. Additionally, I don't even know if the ghost has any 'normal' evidence, so maybe it doesn't even help to try to find the room and evidence. I just don't know that.
So if someone can really give some tips on how to get better at this game, specifically for this challenge that is, please do. Up to this post, I have not seen any tips and I am wondering if there is anyone who can actually win this challenge (except with guessing for example).
Oh and I prefer to play alone, I can understand that the challenge can become easier with more than one player.
