im having the same isssue you now cant use the LMB for anything including the grab which is super annoying it just messes everything up now

Same, today's update screwed something up. My A button is not being recognized at all.

It's because the devs hard-coded certain button presses to always do a particular action in the lobby, meaning that if you tried to rebind your buttons/keys you could break the lobby functionality pretty badly.

This problem has always existed but the devs never cared to fix it in the past because almost no steam players were using game pads.

I can see they patched this for a specific reason but omg it's very annoying I am having a hard time choosing another key to rebind this to, I'm a left hander and I can honestly say I hate this :'(

This is quite possibly one of the worst updates to do imo. I use LMB for grabbing and now i have to rebind it to something else, this suuuuuuuucks.

Just tried to "use" on crucifix to place it down and couldn't. Cant rebind "USE" to left mouse button anymore, why was this changed? pretty unnecessary.

I just hopped in to play and I have LMB always to grab items and realized it didn't work any more as well. Definitely something that will inconvenience things a bit for awhile until I can get used to another button. Sad that this has happened.

i really hope they make LMB bindable again, not being able to use it for grab is making everything so confusing

As a game developer I'm having a hard time fathoming why they would hard code that. LMB on keyboard and A on controller are crucial. Not to mention those with assistive technology needs to game. This is a terrible choice. There is plenty other ways to have your players bind separate things to work without disabling one from being able to be used at all. We were hyped to play tonight and now were going to play other games as this is a deal breaker for our whole squad. Super disappointing!!!!

I can still use left mouse button to open doors, but cannot bind it to "Place", which was originally "Secondary Use".
