I hope maybe they take the information gathered from this event to course correct any future events.
Like the blood moon (which could have just been part of a regular content update) didn't even make any sense in the context of the game. It was super gimmicky.
I laughed seeing blood rain in a cookie cutter model home community. You'd think people would be screaming in the streets, fire trucks/police would be barreling down the road, helicopters, just chaos. Lmao. Instead, everything is quiet. The neighbours are asleep. Just another day at the office. So stupid and people ate it up because it was something new and they were just starved for content.
What upsets me the most is just how little effort has gone into the game. Calling stuff like this a "major update" is a troll of epic proportions.
Also, with no new maps, asking people to grind the same ugly Unity asset properties over and over again for a community event where the reward doesn't even come close to compensating your effort... people are *finally* starting to catch on to what I've been saying for years. The game is paper thin content-wise.
But hey, it you enjoy that grind and running around kitchen islands to avoid ghosts, then I wish you all the best and hope you have fun with the event in December.
That would offer something to do for those, who don't really want to play the game anymore (and for whatever reason complain about, why it's even possible to still get event rewards), while still allows players to have fun with unique changes past the 1 hour it takes to solve a trivial puzzle.
